How Does The Industrial Wet Scrubber Work?
Step 1: Gas Intake & Pre-treatment
Acid mist exhaust gas is first collected by suction hoods or other gas collecting devices, then transported through our corrosion-resistant PP air ducts. Under the action of an anti-corrosion centrifugal fan, the exhaust gas is drawn into the scrubber tower in negative pressure mode to avoid gas leakage.
Step 2: Spray Washing & Neutralization
The exhaust gas flows upstream inside the tower, with the wind speed slowing down gradually. In the packing layer with large specific surface area, the gas fully contacts with sodium hydroxide alkali solution. Acid-base neutralization reaction takes place here, absorbing and removing the harmful acidic components from the gas.
Step 3: Demisting & Adsorption
After the neutralization process, the gas passes through the top demisting layer, which removes the water mist carried in the gas flow. This step ensures that no excess moisture is discharged into the atmosphere, preventing secondary pollution.
Step 4: Clean Gas Discharge
Finally, the purified clean gas is sent to the chimney system by the centrifugal fan, and discharged at a height of 15 meters, fully complying with the industrial air contaminant regulations set by OSHA, ensuring your facility meets all environmental standards.
