The diameter 200mm 250mm 220V/24V motorized duct dampers adopt injection molding, which has strong sealing, is beautiful and durable and is connected to the air pipe for air adjustment. The injection molding air valve is divided into two kinds of materials: one is PP and the other is PVC. Diameters within Φ315mm are injection molded, and other large sizes are manually welded, and they can also be made of stainless steel or glass fiber-reinforced plastic materials.

Internal Structure

Our motorized duct dampers consist of three main components:
  1. Valve Body: One-piece injection molded PP/PVC body with integrated connection ends
  2. Butterfly Disc: Precision molded disc with EPDM seal for excellent airtightness
  3. Electric Actuator: Self-developed high-torque actuator with manual override lever

Working Principle

When the actuator receives an electrical signal, it drives the butterfly disc to rotate 0-90 degrees, changing the cross-sectional area of the duct to regulate airflow. The on/off control type provides fully open or fully closed positions, while the modulating control type allows for precise adjustment of airflow volume from 0% to 100%.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Collar Connection (Recommended for Standard Installations)

  1. Cut the PP ventilation pipe to the required length and deburr the ends
  2. Slide the collar over the pipe end
  3. Insert the damper into the pipe until it stops
  4. Tighten the collar evenly around the connection to ensure a secure, leak-proof seal
  5. Connect the electrical wiring according to the wiring diagram
  6. Test the damper operation to ensure it opens and closes smoothly

Flange Connection (For High-Pressure Applications)

  1. Weld PP flanges to both ends of the damper and the connecting pipes
  2. Insert an EPDM gasket between the flanges
  3. Align the bolt holes and tighten the bolts evenly in a crisscross pattern
  4. Connect the electrical wiring and test the operation
