PP Specialist — Multi-Material Capability

Polypropylene is our core strength.

As a specialist in polypropylene fabrication, Xicheng primarily uses PP for its superior chemical resistance, weldability, and cost-effectiveness. FRP and SS also available.

PP

Polypropylene (PP)

Our most recommended material. Excellent chemical resistance to HCl, H2SO4, HF, NaOH, and most organic solvents at concentrations up to 30%. Density 0.91 g/cm3 — 40% lighter than PVC. Hot-air welded seams rated to 100C continuous service. UV-stabilized grades available for outdoor installations. UL 94 V-0 flame retardant. Used for scrubber bodies, ductwork, tanks, fume hoods, and packing media.
FRP

Fiberglass (FRP)

Filament-wound FRP with vinyl ester resin for high structural strength and corrosion resistance. FRP can be selected where structural, outdoor or temperature requirements exceed the preferred range of standard PP construction. Laminate design and fabrication standard are project-specific.
SS

Stainless Steel (SS)

Available for specific high-temperature and high-pressure applications where plastic materials are not suitable. 304/316L grades standard. Halar (ECTFE) coated SS for the most aggressive chemical environments — resists boiling acids and strong oxidizers. Operating temperature up to 150C. Used for reactor exhaust, megathermal furnace off-gas, and applications requiring fire resistance.
